Chris85
I've had to uninstall version 12 to then install it again straight away. I have logged the activation key and now I can only download version 13, when I come to activate the program using my activation key its saying this isn't valid. Is this because its version 13 and not 12 and also how can I download 12 again? Also we use solidworks 2019 and copy all the drawings into PDF's for sending on emails etc, Nitro wasn't allowing this to happen after a while. Is this a problem anybody else has come across? Three of us in my office have had the same problem.

Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted October 15, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 15, 2019 Hello @Chris85, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! You were having issue activating your Nitro Pro 12 because you have installed Nitro Pro 13. Kindly note our licensing server detects the correct version when entering the serial number of a certain version to another version. With regard to converting your SolidWorks drawings to PDF, we recommend following these steps: a. Open the file in SolidWorks > File > Export to an image format. (i.e. .jpg or .png format) b. Open Nitro Pro > click on the Home tab > PDF > From File > Add Files > select the image file. This will convert the image to a PDF format. This process works over the direct print using the Nitro PDF Creator, since it does not require Nitro Pro to render the content in the SolidWorks file. Are your performing the above workflow which does not work for unknown reason? If you have a different workflow, please share it to use so I check our resources. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. To create a PDF from a solidworks drawing I am using a Macro which is programmed to save the file as a PDF and DXF file automatically. Initially when I open my Solidworks and a drawing this sequence works straight away, after opening a few drawings and trying to use the Macro is loses its link to Nitro and the only way to resolve this is to close Solidworks and start again. We have only in the last 6 months moved to nitro from adobe which we never had this problem. Thanks.
