Missing Tab

I have been using Microsoft word all day, and the Nitro Pro tab has always been at the top of the scree; whilst converting a document, Word stopped working, when I restarted the tab had disappeared, how do I get it back. Yhe tab is still on other Microsoft programs such as Excel and outlook

To further troubleshoot, kindly uninstall/install your Nitro Pro plug-in for MS Word. Please refer to these steps:

1. Close your Nitro Pro and MS Office applications if they're open.
2. Right-click on the Nitro Pro desktop icon and select Run as Administrator.
3. Go to Help tab > Support Tools > PDF Creation tab and tick the box for Microsoft Word under Microsoft Office Add-ins. If the tool is not found in Help tab, you will need to go to the installation folder of Nitro Pro and run NitroPDFSupportTools.exe (by default, it is inside C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro X, where X is the version you have)
4. Click Update Add-ins button. Installation will be done in the background. Once it's done, you should receive a message 'Update of add-ins was successful. To activate your changes, please restart Microsoft Office applications'.
5. Click OK > Close.
6. Close your Nitro Pro and open it again to test.

If above steps did not help, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Done that, but no still no Tab on windows although it is on excel, power point , outlook etc. When I go into work for add-ins, it says Nitro pro is unloaded, whatever that means

You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Hello @Barrymcooper1947,

Thank you for this information.

To further assist you, please do the following steps:

1. Run a repair of your MS Office.

2. Uninstall Nitro Pro 12.0.0.108 by going to Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Programs and Features and reboot your machine.

3. After rebooting, please delete 'Nitro' folders from Program Files and ProgramData (hidden) directories.

4. Then clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

5. Download the latest build for Nitro Pro 12:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi 
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

6. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate and entering your serial number.
