TLCC 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2017 Bought upgrade but when go to download it says Brother Control Center open and it's not. It starts download then stops with pop up. We will need to close the Brother Control Center so you can install Nitro Pro. Please note that you can still use your Brother Printer, we just need you to close the Brother Control Center (also known as Control Center 4) so that Nitro Pro can install. We need to do this is because the Brother Control Center is still holding a directory open that Nitro needs access to when installing. Once Nitro is installed you will be able to use your printer and the control center again. To close it, please go to the system tray at the bottom right of your screen and see if ControlCenter4 is running (please refer to the screenshot below):If it is running, kindly right click and close the process. Alternatively, open the Task Manager and look for a Brother Control process (BrCtrlCntr.exe) or a Control Center process and end this task.
