A.Wagner
Hello everybody, we are having problems with the display of form fields in Adobe Reader in the company. We use several fillable forms (created in Nitro 10), which were correctly displayed in the past with PDF-XChange Viewer. After switching to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the entered text is now only displayed as squares in all fields, the text is no longer readable. Opening and editing the file with PDF-XChange Viewer works without any problems. Any ideas where the cause could be? With best regards Andre Wagner

Mwnyhuis
I am having a similar issue... Company wide we use adobe acrobat reader DX for PDF's. I'm trying to figure out how to create a form field that is only able to be viewed on the screen, so that when printed the entered data is seen, but not the form box. This seems like it should be an easy and common task, but the only way I can currently see the entered data on the printed page is when the ugly form box is around it. In an effort to give as much information as possible: When I click on the form field > properties > general and then in "common properties" box, I select "Visible but does not print". With this option I can see the form box in Adobe, and enter the data just fine, but when I go to print the document everything is gone. When I select "Visible", I again can enter the data without any problems, but when the document is printed it shows the whole boxed form field around it. Both the "Hidden" and "Hidden but printable" options do not even allow me to enter the data in adobe whatsoever. I am using Nitro Pro 12.11.0.509 I apologize but I don't see a way to attach my file on here... Thanks, Martin
