timwi
I am having a similar issue @AllainU where I am trying to combine a .pdf with a .doc in Nitro 10.5.8.44 and am receiving a "[.doc filename] failed while being created as a PDF". I have tried saving the .doc as a .docx before combining and have also tried to 'repair' the app but both to no avail. The only way I can get around the issue is to save the .doc as a .pdf before trying to combine. This is hampering our team's workflow as they need to create these combined docs multiple times a day having the save the edited .doc down as a .pdf before combining every time is adding unnecessary time to the process. Any ideas...?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 22, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 22, 2019 Hello @timwi, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Before continuing, I should let you know that we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 or older. It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy As a courtesy, I recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro (via Start or Windows button > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program if you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1). Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. You may refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000004603 If that it did not help, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 10? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
