Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 23, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 23, 2019 Hello @ClearH2o, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order for me to further assist you with your concern, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.3.26) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
rogerinnyc
Similar issue here. Running the 15 day trial of Nitro Pro, version 13.8.2.140. The plug-ins are loaded and active, but they do not seem to work with Outlook 365. "Failed Conversion" message trying to convert Outlook email to PDF; doesn't make a difference with the email message is highlighted from the list of emails or opened first. Plug-ins DO work with Word and Excel programs that come with Outlook 365 (although my Word documents are converted in reverse page order). Any thoughts? Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 23, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 23, 2019 Hello @rogerinnyc, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order to further troubleshoot this issue, kindly uninstall/install your Nitro Pro plug-ins by referring to these steps: 1. Close your Nitro Pro and MS Office applications if they're open. 2. Right-click on the Nitro Pro desktop icon and select Run as Administrator. 3. Go to Help tab > Support Tools > PDF Creation tab and tick the box for all MS Office applications under Microsoft Office Add-ins. If the tool is not found in Help tab, you will need to go to the installation folder of Nitro Pro and run NitroPDFSupportTools.exe (by default, it is inside C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\13) 4. Click Update Add-ins button. Installation will be done in the background. Once it's done, you should receive a message 'Update of add-ins was successful. 5. Click OK > Close. 6. To activate the changes, please restart Microsoft Office applications. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. David Spence
Hi AllainU Version is Nitro Pro 13.8.2.140 New 2019 Dell system with Windows MS Office 2013
rogerinnyc
Thanks for the reply, but no joy from following your steps. The update took literally about 1 second to run and say "successful", so I suspect I had the most current versions already (plus since I had just done the install of Nitro Pro directly from the web site today). I wonder if there is a basic incompatibility with Outlook 365 (I'm running Windows 10)?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 25, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 25, 2019 Hello @rogerinnyc, Thank you for your patience. Since I am unable to pull-up your account, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro? To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'. Hi @ClearH2o, Thank you for this information. After checking your account records, we can see you already submitted a support ticket for the same concern. For better case handling, kindly respond to the email message that was sent to you through the support case. Cheers!
David Spence
Nitro support contacted me and recommended this. 1. Close all Office applications. 2. Run a Quick Repair of Microsoft Office via the Control Panel's Programs and Features > Uninstall > Change > Repair 3. Open Nitro Pro 13 > Help Tab > Support Tools > PDF Creation > Update Add-ins 4. Restart PC That did not work and I still had the same issue as described above. I went back and opened Nitro Pro 13 > Help Tab > Support Tools > PDF Creation > Advanced Tab and unchecked the: Use intelligent PDF creation to MS *** Add ins. And again restarted my PC. That seems to have cleared up the issue.
