Switching Laptops with Old "Installation ID"

I have been using Nitro Pro v9 on my work laptop for 2 years. I just got a new laptop and naturally want to switch my license from the old to the new. I looked for the Serial #, as directed by the resources here, in the Help > About Nitro Pro from within the software, but where I would expect to see the number there is nothing. I have an installation ID that looks like the old v4 Serial number format, a computer ID, and that is all. I tried to use the activation portal, but it returned that the Serial # was not valid. What can I do to find my correct Serial number and migrate my license?

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

If the serial number is not mentioned in About Nitro Pro windows and you are using a Business product, this is by design for security reasons.

Otherwise if you purchased it from our website, I am afraid I am unable to find a purchase under your email address. In order to help you with your request, can you please provide the following information for me?

-The full name and address of the purchaser
-The email address used to purchase Nitro Pro.
-A copy of the order invoice.

To send them via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

If you purchased this directly through our online store, I will be able to find a record of this. If you purchased through a reseller of Nitro, you will need to contact them directly as we do not have records of their purchases.
