Disable Update/Upgrade checker

I have Nitro12 , every night it downloads Nitro 13 and do an upgrade... I have to uninstall again everyday... how can I disable this.its annoying

Nitro does not have an auto-updater and we also don't have any servers with updates.

What can probably be happening is a software installed on your machine that is pushing software updates.

Do you have any kind of auto-patcher/patch management program installed such as F-Secure, Shavlik, etc?
