I am also having trouble finding a way to add a printer option for Nitro Pro 10. On my old laptop, PDF Creator always showed up as an additional printer in my "devices" settings. I can't seem to make the same thing happen after reinstalling on my new laptop. OS Windows 10 64-bit, Nitro Pro 10.5.1.17

Hello @jw_shade,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Before continuing, I should let you know that we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 or older. It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy:   https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy

As a courtesy, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 10?

To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

Thanks and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @cassie myers,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?:
-Is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing Nitro Pro? Any changes you are aware of before this happened (e.g. Windows Updates)?
-Build of Nitro Pro are you working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
-What is the exact make / model of your physical printer?
-A screen shot of the error message you are receiving and/or any important information. To find out how to take a screen shot, check out this link: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase/#/search/screen/000004108

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

It started yesterday, my nitro pro wouldn't work at all, I couldn't access the program, the shortcut was broken as well. (possibly due to a Windows update)

I uninstalled it and this is the new problem since reinstalling it.

12.16.3.574

I am trying to print to pdf, not physically print

I have followed the instructions in the link but there is not an option for me to attach the documents to this reply

Hello @cassie myers,

Thank you for the private message.

To further troubleshoot this issue, I recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro (via Start or Windows button > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program if you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1). Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. You may refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000004603

If repairing didn't help, try installing using our Stand-alone PDF creator using below installer: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/enterprise/Nitro_Creator_x64.msi

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this help!

Hello @cassie myers,

Thank you for your patience.

Let us try some troubleshooting by referring to these steps:

1. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. Kindly note Appdata folder is hidden and to unhide it, please refer to this article https://cybertext.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/cant-see-the-appdata-folder/

2. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your Nitro Pro: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000004307

3. Clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

4. Download and install Nitro Pro 12.16 using our offline installer for x64-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

5. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

I can't get through step B.

when I get to number 3 it has an error saying "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I have a screenshot, I can send you.
