John Hoss
I purchased an upgrade to NP 12 several months ago and attempted to install it. The wizard fails with no documentation as to why. No error codes. I submitted this to tech support and they responded with something about Windows changing permissions on folders. I did not have time to fool with it so I just kept using the Trial version, now expired. Today, I need to used NP for editing so I have to go back and figure out how to install it. Does anyone know the secret to installing NP 12 on a Windows 10 machine? I have a paid license for NP 12.
John Hoss
FWIW, I have followed these instructions. https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/wizard has failed/000003595 After correcting the command lines to capture C:\ instead of % I got them to sort of work. The Administrator Power Shell indicates I now have ownership. But the wizard still fails. Moving to the GUI I see the folder WindowsApps is still listed as read only. I removed that flag. Wizard still fails. This is why I did not bother up grade to NP 13. NP12 never worked. I really hate Windows and Microsoft.
