Activation is not working

Hi, laptop crashed, got a new one. Reinstalled Nitro Pro on the new laptop.  Deactivated the old Nitro Pro, as is confirmed on the portal when I type in my serial number.  But Activation does not work. It keeps saying Err 23, cannot reactivate. Please help. Thank you.

Before continuing, please be aware that Nitro Pro 11 or older are already discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy. With that, support for the discontinued versions are no longer available. 

As a courtesy, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

 

Alternatively, if you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with VIP Access (formerly Software Assurance), kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 11 serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 

You should then receive an email confirmation with a new serial number to activate Nitro Pro 13.

Thank you. That is very helpful. I am a little surprised though: I only bought the software in June 2018. I would not expect it to be discontinued already. If I would take the VIP membership every year, would that ensure me receiving automatic upgrades as long as I extent my VIP membership every year? I like Nitro Pro very much and I chose it over Adobe because I rather own my software than have subscriptions. I don't use enough to justify the expense of subscriptions.

Hello @C MDz,

If you purchase VIP Access, you have to visit our Upgrade Portal and enter your serial number to avail the free upgrade because the program does not have automatic upgrades.

Kindly note renewing this VIP subscription entitles users to free upgrades for the next release of Nitro Pro and Premium Support for one year after the purchase date.

I have the exact problem as the user above.  I changed computers and can no longer access Nitro Pro, even after I deactivated.  Can you please help me out by resetting my license so I can use it again? Thank you in advance.
