How to restore a deleted "untitled" extracted file?

I had extracted some pages from a document file and wanted to rename it from the default "untitled". I clicked and saved it to a folder and went back to delete the extracted and renamed file. It did not occur to me that the file name had never changed from Untitled to the new file name. I had just mailed out the documents I extracted and pulling my hair where to find the saved file or even the "untitled" file? Can you help.
