Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 2, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 2, 2020 Hello @keithlinard, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Kindly note that our Activation Portal as of the moment can only accept serial numbers with format 23460x-xxxxxx-xxxxxx where 'x' are random numbers. With the release of Nitro Pro 13, it is now using a different format (5049xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and will soon be integrated into the same portal in the next coming months. As much as we would like to provide an ETA, it is not yet available. With regard to activating your Nitro Pro 13, are you referring to a third machine that the hard drive was replaced? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
keithlinard Posted March 3, 2020 Author Report Posted March 3, 2020 I have a 3 PC licence for Nitro Pro 13, with the licences being applied to 3 different household computers. One of the PC's for which I had applied the licence (PC name was KTL-XT3-1 ?) suffered a Hard Disk Drive crash last week. I have now installed a new HDD and need one of my licences released so that I can reinstall Nitro Pro 13. I would be most appreciative if you could re activate 1 licence as soon as possible. Keith Linard
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 3, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 3, 2020 Hello @keithlinard, Thank you for this information. Upon checking our records, I was able to see that you have purchased a single user license. A single-user license can be used on two machines only as long as you follow the rules outlined in our End User License Agreement (EULA): 'Licensee may install one copy of the Licensed Software on a single computer. The primary user of the computer on which the Licensed Software is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at his or her home, provided the software on the portable or home computer is NOT USED at the same time as the software on the primary computer.' If you need to activate additional license of Nitro Pro, please visit our website https://www.gonitro.com/pricing and place another order. Otherwise, your option is to deactivate one of the current licenses and then you will be able to activate additional one. Please let me know how else I can help.

keithlinard Posted March 4, 2020 Author Report Posted March 4, 2020 Hello AllainU, I had previously installed NitoPro13 on my (non-portable) Desktop PC (Computer Name = KTL-1) and on my portable Surface Pro Tablet (Computer Name = Surface-KTL), for use as per the specification of your EULA ... obviously I cannot use both machines at the same time. As indicated in my previous 2 emails, the Hard Disk Drive on my Desktop PC (KTL-1) crashed irretrievably rendering use of the NitroPro13 licence useless -along with many other programs. I have now installed a new hard-drive in my Desktop PC and want to reinstall NitroPro13 on the same Desktop. Will you please deactivate the current licence associated with the Desktop PC so that I can reinstall NitroPro13 on the same Desktop, but with new HDD. I have renamed the Desktop KTL-XT3-1). (I note that I had previously referred to having a 3-licence version of NitroPro ... I had got mixed up with a 3 licence version of Copernic 6, for which I also have to get the old licence deactivated on the Desktop.) Regards, Keith Linard
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 4, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 4, 2020 Hello @keithlinard, Thank you for this clarification. To properly deactivate the correct machine, could please provide the Computer ID from your portable Surface Pro Tablet? To get this information, kindly refer to the workflow shown in this screenshot: Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
keithlinard Posted March 4, 2020 Author Report Posted March 4, 2020 Computer ID on SurfacePro is " qZphLsZIwEt4ltjyOnUS " Regards, Keith Linard
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 4, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 4, 2020 Hello @keithlinard, Thank you for this information. I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate on your desktop machine. Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
