using different computer and need to be able to use NitroPro on it

Our entire building will be working remote for about 3 weeks.  I have NitroPro, paid version, installed on my desktop at the office but will be using a laptop for remote until we are allowed back onsite.  I couldn't locate my serial number on my desktop version.  I need to be able to use the software while working remote.  Please advise.

Hi,

I am having a similar activation problem. I have a single user license allowing two activations. I have updated my computers and have deleted Nitro Pro 12 off them. I have been to the activation portal and deactivated all. It shows zero activations. However, when I install Nitro Pro on my new computer and try to activate with existing serial number I get an error saying I have exceeded my activations. Can you please advise how to fix this error? Can send you my serial number.

Hello @David Harper,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

On the machine you're having issue activating, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Our record shows you are experiencing an issue activating the license is because the computer that the software was installed on did not generate a proper Computer ID (which is a Nitro-specific ID, which generates a unique Computer ID for each computer that the software is installed on). Instead, a Computer ID of all '0's was generated.

To fix this issue, you can release your license by going to https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal 

Install Nitro Pro 13 using below direct installers:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13192356/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi 
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13192356/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number

Hi I have had to rebuild my computer from scratch and have lost all settings relevant to Nitro Pro. Have now tried to reinstall without success, going round in cercles with install and activation and deactivation process. Says I can deactivate 2 and have done this but still cant reinstall my Nitro Pro getting error message #23 License number already used. Please help

When I enter the serial number, another page populates which states the following:

 

Once you click “Deactivate”, you can activate your license immediately by entering the below serial number into Nitro Pro.

I’m not sure what to do.

when IT installed for me, it reverted  back to the Trail Version.  I went through the steps - Help-About Nitro Pro - Activate- entered serial number.  Received a response that there were too many computers activated with this license.  

Please advise.

Disregard previous message. was able to install.  However, I don't see any of my previous documents unless I pull directly where they're saved. Shouldn't I be able to see previous folders/documents?

I have left one message already its not easy to fid out how to get support here.

I have had to rebuild my computer and include a new install of Nitro.

I have been through the activate deactivate process which goes around in circles and I wind up with an error message. I cant see how to activate my reinstall of Nitro Pro. Help Please.

Before continuing, please be aware that Nitro Pro 11 or older are already discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy . With that, support for the discontinued versions are no longer available.  

If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 10 serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 

 

However if you prefer working with an older version and as a courtesy, kindly uninstall the version you currently have by going to Control Panel \ Programs \ Programs and Features, reboot your machine and download Nitro Pro 10 installers from this page:  https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/online/000004464
