I recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro via the Control Panel > Programs and Features. Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. If that did not help, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.3.26) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

I am working with build 13.2.3.26

I tried the fix you suggested. Didn't help

The problem is when I want to type text in a nitro pro doc, the text starts appearing in a place other than where the cursor is and I can't get the text where I want it. It seems to jump to different locations a half inch or so away from where I want it to appear.

To further assist you, I highly suggest updating to the latest build using below direct installers:

I updated as suggested. Still having the same problems. Program glitch?

specifically, when I place the cursor to type, the text appears usually quite a ways to the right of where I want it. (when I first updated this appeared to be cured but after a few more tries, the same problem popped back up.

when I try to place a review call out note next to text, the note doesn't appear when I place the cursor and after saving and trying to reposition the note, I can't seem to get it where I want it.

This wasn't a problem on the older version of Nitro Pro that I had.
