Purchased, installed, activated NitroPro 12 Aug 18 now wants me to activate again

I purchased, installed, and activated Nitro Pro 12 in August 2019.

Now when I open pdf files in Nitro Pro it asks me to activate. It also says that all my activations are used. I'm using one of the original installations. The installed version is 12.16.3.574.

How/when can this problem be fixed?
