I work for a company that creates estimates based on architectural drawings sent to us.
These drawings usually contain several pages and can be very large 36in x 24in; sometimes 200 - 300 megabytes in size.
Take a look at resource consumption at one of our work stations.
My suggestion is if the developers could modify Nitro Pro to recognize powerful workstations and utilize more resources to complete tasks such as OCR in a PDF document of this proportion. This workstation is also equipped with a NVIDIA Quadro P2000 Graphics card for CAD drawings. When it is not being used for such tasks, these Graphics processing cores could be utilized to increase the processing power of Nitro Pro substantially.
