activation error

I had to install Nitro pro (version 13.13.2.242 ) on a new laptop. When I insert the serial number to activate the product, I get an error of "non existing licence number".

I've been redirected to the  page    https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal   . When I insert here my licence number it says that it's ok,  and IT IS a valid licence number ( I purchased it in 2018) but there is no way to complete the process with the installed product.

How can this problem be solved?

Please be aware that a Nitro Pro serial number will only work based on its version. 
I checked your account records and found that you have a Nitro Pro 12 license. With that, please uninstall Nitro Pro 13 on your new laptop then install Nitro Pro 12 so you can activate it using your serial number.

Once uninstalled, install Nitro Pro 12 by downloading the installer from the following location: 

32bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi 
64bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

After Nitro Pro 12 installation, activate it by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. Enter your version 12 serial number then click on Activate.
