How to choose fonts used in PDF to avoid 'embedded fonts' error in Acrobat Reader?

I imported a PDF, made some changes to the fillable fields and then saved it as a new PDF. When I try to open in Acrobat Reader, I can fill in the fields with no problem but also get the warning "Cannot extract the embedded font 'MPDFAA+DejaVuSansCondensed-Bold".

I'm new to Nitro and PDF editing - is there a way to choose the font in Nitro Pro? If so, what's a better more widely-used font for Acrobat reader users?

And if not, how can I prevent this problem from happening for Acrobat Reader users?
