Unable to install Office add-in

Hello,

this is my setup: Windows 10 Pro Build 19045, Nitro PDF Pro 14.22.1.0, Office Pro Plus 2021.

I installed the add-ins by using the NitroPDFSupportTools.exe (as administrator). The addins apears than in the office applications but as inactive and that message appears: "Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in". I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the add-ins with the tool. I also did repair installations from Office and Nitro - but without success. It seems that that Office could'nt find the path for the plugin. What can I do?

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community forum.

Can you please try the following:

1. Download our latest Clean Up utility: https://www.gonitro.com/support/tools/cleanup-utility-list

2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't properly run from within the zip)

3. Run the utility (NOTE: This will remove any custom signatures/stamps. Let me know if these need to be backed up)

4. Reboot

5. Download and install Nitro PDF Pro 14 from here: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads

6. Activate Nitro, and the Office add-in should be preinstalled.
