The error 0x40000001 is a Windows error that is being passed through to the Nitro PDF Pro application, which is a generic error typically indicating a corrupt file. Is this error code reproducible by opening the PDF document? Also, does this issue persist on PDF files that are saved in a local drive like a desktop? As a test, can you try opening the affected PDF files using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browsers? I would like to know if it opens the PDF file or if it will generate an error message.
