PDF File Size Increasing/Changing after Optimizing

Hi there, 

I'm trying to troubleshoot why the original file size would be edited after optimizing to a new file. I can recreate this issue over multiple pc's and multiple files.

Step 1 - Open PDF file. (Filesize 16.71mb)
Step 2  - Optimize PDF

New opt_ file size saves as 16.70mb
Old file size asks if I want to save before closing. New file size = 33.41mb (double). If I optimize the same 33.41mb file again the new _opt file reduces back to 16.70mb and then the original file saves at 50.11mb. It seems to be increasing by the optimized filesize each optimize and save. Why is it doing this?

I would love to know more about the issue. I have several questions for you:

- What build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab 
- Is the issue file-specific, or is it happening in all files?
- Can you please send us sample files so we can check the file and replicate the issue?
