Asking to save changes at close when nothing has been changed

Hi...we often create documents in word then save them as PDF. We don't print to PDF, but just say save as, then select PDF. When we open those documents in Nitro, it asks if we want to save them when we close even though there were no changes. but other pdfs don't do that - when they are printed to pdf or are just regular pdf.

 

any clue why this is happening? it gets annoying after a while.

what it seems to me after some testing are the images in the file. we have an image for our logo and also signature. when i use the nitro add-in to convert to pdf it doesn't have the issue. but when i do save as pdf it does. so somehow when nitro opens it is doing something to that image that it perceives as an edit? can that be stopped?

- Can you please provide screenshots of a sample file we can test?
