Nitro Pro unable to open comments

I have Nitro Pro 12.0.0.112. When I open documents edited by 3rd parties and they have inserted comments, I am unable to open and read the comments. Do I need to upgrade to Nitro Pro 14 or is there another work-around?

Please note that we no longer support Nitro Pro 12 and older versions. As stated in our Sunset Policy, they have reached the end of life, and their activation servers have been shut down. 
Nitro PDF Pro 14 is available for download, and you can run it in a 14-day trial. I highly recommend trialing this version on another machine and not on the existing machine, as it will uninstall your version 12 (installers are no longer available on discontinued versions).
If this version works for you, you can upgrade your version 12 license to version 14 at a discounted price.
