Nitro integration with Dropbox - How to search?

I connected Nitro with my company's Dropbox account (I am the admin) and I'm trying to see if it's a good fit for us. Unfortunately, I can not figure out how to search for text in a PDF once it has been opened by Nitro in the browser. Using the browser's search capability does not work at all, which is the same experience I've had in other web-based tools as well. Nitro is no use to us if we can't search the PDF in the browser, so I'm hoping it's possible to do.

As an aside, the giant purple section on the left half of the window is really annoying. Is there any way to hide or shrink it? Example
