Nitro offers a discounted upgrade price on older version of Nitro Pro licenses. You can upgrade your version 9 license to version 13 through our upgrade portal - https://www.gonitro.com/support/upgrade You may also run a trial period of Nitro Pro 13 (if you have a separate machine) so you could check if the issues you are experiencing with the conversion has been resolved or improved.
