I see Nitro sending info about pdfs back to nitro

When I open a document nitro is accessing the internet.   This doesn't seem good.

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

The Nitro Pro software does not need an internet connection when opening PDF documents.
Access to the internet is only needed when you activate the software by going to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 

Is your Nitro Pro installation activated or running in a 14-day trial period? 
Could you please share a screenshot where you see that the software is accessing the internet when you open a PDF document?

Apparently writing the question and your reply is suffecient for stopping the problem.

Nitro was accessing repeatedly over several days.  Now, attempting to get a screenshot,  nothing. 

if it happens again, i'll send a screeshot .

this happened last week.  I didn't have time to send then, because I needed to get pic uploaded to hosting service.

seems the insert link function or 'insert image from url'  on this site, doesn't work. 

again, this outgoing notification about nitro appeared as I opened a pdf.

i just opened Nitro reader, 5.9.2 again, to check for the 20th time, to see if there is a setting to check for updates.  I find no such updates,  but did get another notification of nitro sending:
