Kevin Ono
I am trying to reduce a 17mb file down to 5mb and the original PDF is in color. I tried optimizing and the only way i can get it to the size limit i have is to go down to 72 dpi. Unfortunately, the document becomes very hard to read. Since I dont need it on color I think converting it to grayscale will reduce the size then maybe I can optimize it from there.
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted February 4, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 4, 2021 Hello Kevin, This case is file-specific, you will get different results for different files. You will have to play around with some settings for some files. Here are some helpful articles in reducing the file size: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/reduce/000004105 https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/reduce/000004089 I hope that helps! Kevin Ono
Hi Leslie, Thank you for the suggestions. As I mentioned, I tried the first way but will try the second way on my next file.
