OCR notificaiton

When I open a PDF, I get the option in the corner to convert the file to OCR. I used to be able to close this notification by pressing X but it does not appear any longer as an option. I have a screenshot if it's helpful

Hi @Fay N,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

The OCR notification will appear if you open a scanned document in Nitro Pro. This notification can be turned On or OFF by going to the Nitro Pro Preferences. 

Here are the steps:

1. In Nitro Pro, go to File > Preferences > Notifications.
2. Under Product messages section, un-check or check the ' Show in-product messages'. 
3. Click Apply to save then Ok to close the Nitro Pro Preferences window.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if something has changed within my software as the message appears cut off. I will forward  screenshot.

Hello @Fay N,

Please try to disable the notification in the Product Message section of Nitro Pro Preferences then apply the changes. When done, enable it again then see if the notification still appears cut off. 

If still the same, perform a repair on your Nitro Pro installation through Windows Control Panel's Programs and Features.

Sorry to report the problem persists. I have tried the steps you indicated and then performed a restart of my computer.

Please provide the version of Nitro Pro installed on your computer, this can be located under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 

Provide as well the screen resolution of your computer.
