I used to be able to close this notification by pressing X but it does not appear any longer as an option. The OCR notification will appear if you open a scanned document in Nitro Pro. This notification can be turned On or OFF by going to the Nitro Pro Preferences. Here are the steps: 1. In Nitro Pro, go to File > Preferences > Notifications. 2. Under Product messages section, un-check or check the ' Show in-product messages'. 3. When done, enable it again then see if the notification still appears cut off.
