wont open encrypted files

When I receive an encrypted PDF file (password protected) it will not open the file even though I put in the correct password.  I have to go to adobe to open files that are password protected.  Its seems as though perhaps there is a cache that needs cleared or something.  I used to be able to open these but cannot anymore.

In order to further assist you, could you please provide a screenshot of your 'About Nitro Pro' window under Help tab? This window should show the exact build of the program and its serial number (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.3.26).
