I understand that you are getting the error message 0x40000003 when saving the document using Nitro Pro. I have seen this issue and one of the causes is If the Windows Explorer Preview Pane is open and currently viewing the same document. As a test, please try closing the Windows Explorer, then try the edit and save workflow again.
