Stefan Behr
Good day My old computer's SSD died. I bought a new computer and downloaded the latest version of Nitro from the Nitro webpage. After installation, I entered the serial number of my old license. I get an error message which says that "The serial number entered does not exist". On the https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal, I get the following information: Serial Number ** Version 9 Status active Number of Activations 1 Number of Activations Allowed 2 If I correctly understand, I should be able to activate Nitro on my new computer without deactivating the installation on the old machine (the one with the dead SSD). Until I saw the information above just now when I researched after receiving my new computer, I was not aware that I could install the software on two computers. However, if possible, I would want to do so. As such, I would prefer not to deactivate the installation on the old computer yet as we are trying to revive the SSD and I would then want to use Nitro on both machines. In case deactivation of the license on the old machine is required to install it on the new computer, I am OK with deactivation on the old PC. Appreciate your support to get the Nitro installed on my new computer asap. I need it urgently... Many thanks in advance! Kind regards, Stefan Edited March 23, 2021 by Leslie V. Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted March 23, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 23, 2021 (edited) Hello @Stefan Behr Thank you for your message - I can help you out. Please note, we no longer support Nitro Pro 9. It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy So you can continue using your purchased license, please install the latest Nitro Pro 12 update: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Then activate with your Nitro Pro 9 serial number. I hope this helps. Let me know if you require anything else. Edited March 23, 2021 by Leslie V.
