Helen Anne Cimikoski Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 Hi - I have been using Nitro Pro 13 for the past year and recently I began having issues converting from PDF to Word. I am using Microsoft 365 on Windows 10 Home. Upon converting the following message is received: "The file contains non-standard encoding and may not be processed correctly. If the conversion contains errors, you can change the ‘Advanced text recovery’ setting in ‘Conversion’ to improve the output quality." I have attempted to change the suggested settings, have repaired Nitro and uninstalled and reinstalled the application with no resolution. Please advise. Thank you, Helen Anne 1
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted March 26, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 26, 2021 Hello Helen Anne, Thanks for reaching out to us! We have found that a tweak was made to the font recognition system, resulting in this error appearing. Due to the frustrating way the message can appear a request has been submitted to change the behavior. There is no ETA for changing this as it will have to go through a review process first. The change was added in 13.31, so as a workaround you could revert to 13.29 (or older). Please let me know if you'd like to revert to the older version so that I can send you the installers. Cheers!
Shayon Lashgari Posted February 20 Report Posted February 20 I'm having this problem in 2024. Is there any update on this?
Kyle Olson Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 (edited) Was this ever fixed? It's been 3 years and the only option I see is to update to 14 where you want more money to fix your broken system. Edited March 8 by Kyle Olson
