Deactivated certificate and unable to activate

Paul Long

Recommended Posts

My computer recently crashed so I had to install NitroPro again and can't get it to activate.  I get this error: "There was an issue with the activation certificate."

Hello Paul,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Please completely uninstall Nitro and then delete all previously downloaded installers from your Downloads folder.

Please reboot and then reinstall the latest Nitro Pro 13 update from this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

After reinstalling, please try activating again.

Let me know how that goes. Cheers!

Hello Paul,

Please send me some screenshots of your steps and the error message so we can check where the error message might be coming from.

Looking forward to your reply.

How do I paste the screenshots in here?  It won't let me paste it.

Can I email it to you?  Is there a phone # I can call to get help?  I've been without NitroPro for 3 weeks!  I use it daily with my job and it's frustrating that I'm unable to use it right now!!

Hello Paul,

Let's do a cleanup and then reinstall the latest update.

Please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system.
https://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13381739/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them.

Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000004307

When your system is back up, close all your open applications and install Nitro Pro 13.38 from one of the links below:

     64 bit
     32 bit

I hope this helps! Please let me know how that goes.
