NitroPro suddenly enters trial mode

Hello,

Nitro Pro has been working fine , but suddenly it goes into trial mode.  I can't enter my license no. as it says I have reached the maximum number of installations, but your support page says that I have 2 available and oddly none in use.

I can't deactivate any licenses as there are none shown in use, so the page suggests I raise a support ticket, but the only options lead me right back to the same page that allows me to do nothing.

Can you please sort this out? I rely on this software every day,

Licence no. is 234600-xxxxxx-xxxxxx

Thank you.

Hello @Steven Edwicker,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Did the affected machine installed a major Windows Update prior to this issue?

If yes, kindly note upon the upgrade of the operating system or installing a major Microsoft update, the Computer ID is changed, as it is comprised partially by the operating system. Once changed, this will no longer recognize the original installation causing the program to revert to trial mode.

As a courtesy of being a valuable customer of Nitro, we want to make you aware of an upcoming change to your product that may affect its performance.

To continue offering our customers the very best PDF tools, we’re upgrading our servers and subsequently shutting down the one your older version of Nitro Pro runs on so please update Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 using below direct MSI links:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

To know if you have 32-bit or 64-bit, please refer to this article:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/15056/windows-32-64-bit-faq

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same serial number.

I understand that this will require effort and time, however, having updated to Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 will get to utilize smooth activation with our new licensing server.

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.

I have the same issue. Your link to the download for v12 does not work. Please update your link.
