Have a licensed copy of NP 12 and had to reinstall software due to HD crash. I also have a NP 10 License as well. When attempting to REACTIVATE my NP 12 license i keep getting the error -20 Invalid license number. I'm taking it directly from Cleverbridge emailed receipt so I know it's correct. When I attempt to go in and DEACTIVATE the license all I get is a popup window that says 'select device to deactivate' yet THERE ARE NO DEVICES LISTED TO SELECT! I refuse to purchase a NEW license/version so that I can use the software that I already own!!

Hello @Allen Craig,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

As per our server logs, we can see you were able to install and activate your Nitro Pro 13 using serial number 5049xx-xxxxxx-xxx865.

Do you still need further assistance for your Nitro Pro 12 or 10?

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

YES. I would like to install my NP 12 license onto a laptop so I will that NP 12 license deactivated so I ca perform a fresh install. Per what I see on Deactivate page I have 2, probably now 3, licenses. I think that’s because I had NP 10, then upgraded to NP 12, which would given me 2 licenses. Now I’ve upgraded to NP 13 for my main system but the NP 12 license should still be valid for NP 12 install.

Hello @Allen Craig,

Thank you for your response.

After checking your purchase, you upgraded to Nitro Pro 13 using your Nitro Pro 12 serial number 234600-xxxxxx-xxx568.

Kindly note that when an upgrade happens, the older version gets deactivated on our end and users are provided with a new license to match their upgrade version.

With regard to your Nitro Pro 10, please be aware that Nitro Pro 11 or older are already discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy. With that, support for the discontinued versions are no longer available.

If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 10 serial number 234601-xxxxxx-xxx615: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade

You should then receive an email confirmation with a new serial number to activate Nitro Pro 13 and to know more about some enhancements and fixes with Nitro Pro 13, please visit our Release Notes page https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/release-notes

In addition to that and many other feature improvements, version 13 also contains some important security vulnerabilities fixes that you might want to consider when deciding whether to upgrade to it or not. You can find out more about these fixes here: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/security/updates

However if you prefer not to upgrade this older license and as a courtesy of being a valuable customer of Nitro, we want to make you aware of the change to your product that may affect its activation performance (e.g. -20: Error - Invalid license number).

To continue offering our customers the very best PDF tools, we have upgraded our servers and has shutdown the one your older version of Nitro Pro runs on so please install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 using below direct MSI links:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

To know if you have 32-bit or 64-bit, please refer to this article:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/15056/windows-32-64-bit-faq

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same Nitro Pro 10 serial number.

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
