License cannot be deactivated nor activated on client

Hi there,

I got the following problem:

I have a client where there is Nitro Pro v11 installed and activated on.
Now this license has to be removed and activated on a new client.
When I try to deactivate it, it says Activation Error 24.
While going through the support ticket routine, by identifying the license, I get the message that none of the 2 activations are used up.
But even when I just try to activate this license on the new client, I get the same activation error 24.
I also tried to install the v12, but then it says the license is not for the current version.

Can somebody help me here?

Thank you very much.

Best regards

Joel

Hello Joel,

Thank you for your message - I can help you out.

Please note, we no longer support Nitro Pro 11. It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy

You can either upgrade to Nitro Pro 13: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade

Or install the latest Nitro Pro 12 update so you can continue using your purchased license:
https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

Then activate with your Nitro Pro 11 serial number.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you require anything else.

Hello Leslie,

Thanks for the fast replay and sorry for me replying delayed, lots to do atm.
Well I had already tried your suggestion before I made this post, but it did not work.
Luckily I found a solution in the meantime.
After some research my analysis led me to a service named "Nalpeiron Licensing Service".
As soon as I had stopped this service, I was finally able to deactivate and again activate Nitro Pro with my serial number.
Even after reactivating this service again, Nitro is now still running smoothly and fully activated.

Thanks again and have a nice second half of the week.

Best regards

Joel
