Activation Error, then no way to select device to deactivate

I am trying to reinstall Nitro Pro 12 on my new laptop, and keep getting a -24: activation error.  I go to submit a ticket, get directed to the page with the deactivation button.  Click on it, and get the error message that I need to select the device to deactivate.  But there is nothing to select.  No options, menus, or way to get around it.  Can someone please help me?

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Please ensure that the build of your Nitro Pro 12 installation is 12.16.9.574. This information can be located under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro.

If you are not on that build, please install it by downloading the installer from the following location: 
https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads - Click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link 

Once that specific build of Nitro Pro 12 is installed, activate it by going to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. Enter the serial number then click on Activate.
