Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted May 3, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 3, 2021 Hello @a. de Haan Have you tried reinstalling or running a repair? What about running the cleanup tool before reinstalling? Does it fail regardless of what file is printed to PDF? Please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system.https://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13381739/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000004307 When your system is back up, close all your open applications and install Nitro Pro 12.16 from the page I have provided below:https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads I hope this helps! Please let me know how that goes.
a. de Haan
Hello Leslie, I ran the cleanup tool and did a reinstallation. This has no effect. Printing works for some simple documents. For most documents, the printer hangs at 1% and crashes
Michael DelBorrello
Same here. I have uninstalled Nitro multiple times using the uninstall utility and reinstalled it. Same problem occurs every time. This seems to have occurred when I created a login for the signature option. I also cannot print anything. As much as I like Nitro, I have used it for a couple of years, I cannot see paying to upgrade as the only solution. Unless there is a resolution for this in version 12, I will probably go back to Acrobat Reader and pay the subscription for the options I have with Nitro. My admin person uses it with absolutely no issues. Mike
Terry Grigg
Use disk cleanup to remove temp files This worked for me
