Can't activate Nitro 12 - and Can't Upgrade to 13 either

Im trying to activate Nitro 12 at my home - it says my serial is invalid.  I went to the portal, is says there are no activations and 2 open activations, so I couldnt deactivate anything.  Upon coming here, I read that Nitro 12  isnt supported and that I have to upgrade now, which I think is unfair, as I dont remember ever reading that I would eventually have to buy the new product as this would no longer work later down the road.  Upon trying to upgrade, it too doesnt like my serial number.   Getting frustrated.

Think I am going to check out Foxit - seem to have same features if not better - and the fact that i can't get support without having to pay for it here is incredible.   
I have things that need to get done and I can't sit here and wait any longer.  I paid for this product and can't even use it now, to the tune of $140

However if you prefer staying with Nitro Pro 12, please note we still support it as long as you will install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 using the installer from this page:
