Hi Support,

For some reason anytime I open up the Nitro it takes 30sec - 1min to load up. I have tried reinstall the program and repair but the issue still there.

Please advise what other solutions can i apply. Thank you.

Hello @ITS Nitro

Thanks for your message!

So that we can troubleshoot the problem, please provide me with the following:
- What exact version of Nitro you are using. You can find this information by opening Nitro. Go to the Help tab, then click About Nitro Pro.
- Your specific step by step workflow so we can replicate this on our end (Are you clicking on a PDF to open Nitro? Are you opening Nitro first before opening any file?etc.)

I look forward to your response.

Hello @ITS Nitro

Please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system.
https://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13492993/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them.
Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000004307
When your system is back up, close all your open applications and install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574from the page I have provided below:
https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

We also highly recommend upgrading to our latest version, V13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. Version 13 also brings license activation flexibility and unlimited eSignatures as part of Nitro Sign being bundled with it.

https://gonitro.com/support/upgrade

I hope that helps!

Hello @ITS Nitro

Nitro Pro is designed to launch within seconds, since it is not a heavy software that requires much processing memory. If you do see significantly long start or load time (i.e. minutes), it could be smoothed out with one of the workflow tips below or us investigating the particular file you are working with.

Launch Nitro Pro by clicking on the desktop icon rather than by opening a file. If you launch the software by clicking on a file, it will include the time to load the file during the launch time.

If seeing slowness loading a particular file, check to see if it is saved locally or on a network location. If on a network location, try saving the file locally to your machine (such as on the desktop), since opening the file will not be dependent on the connection to the network.

When working with files inside of Nitro Pro, close the tabs of files you are no longer working with. Doing so will have your Pro open less files at the time of restart, since it will not recover files that were previously open.

If seeing slow load time with particular files, note that files with rendered content or layers may take longer to load. If you have such files and originally created them to PDF, a workaround would be to first export the content as an image or flattened format and then bring it into Pro as a PDF.

Please let me know if you have other questions.
