Kevin Grant
I purchased Nitro Pro 12 some 3 years ago and now simply wanted to move the license to another computer. My installed version couldn't deactivate automatically because someone decided it was great idea to change the urls for that. Nice one. So, it asked me to manually uninstall using a deactivation code, except the urls given for the manual uninstall had also been changed. Wow, nice one again. OK, so internet search for Nitro led me to another page for deactivation (https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal) but when I enter my serial number, it says 'select device to uninstall' but there is nothing to select. This is the exact same problem user 'bethpeters' reported in 2019. Yes, 2019!!! So the solution is to download and install the latest 12.x version (from https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads) but no notification to do that in Nitro Pro, and it was too late by the time I found that note in the forum. I had already hosed the license. So now I have a purchased license for 12.x that is useless as it says '0 of 2 activations available'. Presumably the first license was hosed on my HD fail a couple of years ago. This is such a time waster for something that other software products manage so smoothly and painlessly. So, what now folks?
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted October 18, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 18, 2021 Hello @Kevin Grant We have recently upgraded our activation servers to address several of the activation issues experienced in the older ones. Please install the latest Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 update so you can reactivate successfully: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Then activate with your Nitro Pro 12 serial number. The serial number you purchased is at 0 out of 2, which means out of the 2 available licenses, 0 has been used. So you can use this serial number for up to 2 activations. I hope that clarifies. Please let me know if you have other questions.
