Nitro Pro 13 Activate button does nothing when you click it

We have a client who uses Nitro Pro 12 and Nitro Pro 13. One user has Nitro Pro 13 installed and it now says the software is not licensed and is using a trial version. It was previously working. When you click on Activate nothing happens, the mouse cursor briefly has a spinning blue circle beside it and then that goes away. Rebooting the computer doesn't resolve it.

The version installed on the computer is Nitro Pro 13.2.6.26.

Could you please assist us with this?

Hi Leslie,

Thank you for your reply.

We've downloaded the latest build of Nitro Pro 13 (13.50.4.1013) from the link you provided, this installed fine and is now activated on the computer. The user is very happy. Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Brendan.

I tried this Link and managed to install the latest version: 13.70.4.50 Nitro Pro PDF13 application to the new PC, but I'm still having the same issue with the activation button which is not responding.

Hello @Duleen Jayawardana

Sorry to hear you are getting this issue. In case the problem is something to do with the installation, can you please try the following for me:

1. Download our latest Clean Up utility: https://www.gonitro.com/support/tools/cleanup-utility-list
2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't properly run from within the zip)
3. Run the utility (NOTE: This will remove any custom signatures / stamps. Let me know if these need to be backed up)
4. Reboot
5. Download and install 13.70 from here: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads

I would also like you to download the latest redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. (VC_redist.x64.exe)
You can download the installer package here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-GB/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Please let me know how that goes.
