Cannot Antivate Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574

I am trying to activate Nitro version 12.16.3.574 ( downloaded from a support forum thread similar to this, installed via MSI ), whenever I try to activate the program i am given this offline activation wizard:

 

  I then click next and click on the nitro PDF activation link, which doesnt work unless i type it manually into the address bar, which gives me this page which I copy the Installation ID into but I just get an invalid data error:

 

  This leaves me unable to activate and use nitro, I have multiple Nitro 12 licenses that I may be unable to use due to this issue.

  I have tried using the Nitro 12.exe installer provided in another support thread but that just fails when it tries to install the program.

I am also unable to update to nitro 12.16.6.574 using the exe on the downloads page for nitro.
