-2: Error - Bad parameter

I am having an issue. My computer updated to Windows 11. My nitro has reverted to Trial mode. When I click to activate it is asking me to activate it manually even though I am connected to the internet. My computer populates an installation ID which I copy. I proceed to the next screen where I have to enter my serial number and Activation ID. After going thru those steps above I get an error message. I have never had to use an Installation ID when registering my nitro and when I check the website activation tool it says I am clear to activate the license. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

 

Error Message:

-2: Error - Bad parameter

There was an issue with the activation certificate.

If you activated manually, click 'Back' and re-enter the activation certificate.

 

 

I have copied and pasted the number and typed in manually the activation certificate is correct. Please advise. Thank you

To continue offering our customers the very best PDF tools, we have upgraded our servers and has shut down the one your older version of Nitro Pro runs on so please install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 by getting the installer from this page:

If you are getting the 'Nitro Pro Wizard has failed' message using our .exe package, it is because it requires a stable Internet connection to download installation files so please use offline English MSI packages:

x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same serial number 234600-xxxxxx-360668
