Nitro Pro 12 Activation

I try to activate a test version of Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 with a active and free licence.

But there is no chance. After clicking activate, copy the installation-id and going further I don't get the Activation Certificate ?!?

The serial is 234600 xxxxx 564318

Please note that we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 and its activation servers have been shut down.

We recommend upgrading to our latest version, Nitro PDF Pro 13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. To upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13 at a discounted rate, please visit our Upgrade page https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 


Alternatively, you can upgrade to the latest build of Nitro Pro 12. Per our Sunset Policy, https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy , we have stopped making feature enhancements to version 12 once we released version 13.  

You can find the Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 installer on this page and activate it with your current Nitro Pro 11 serial number 234600-xxxxxx-0564318:

If you are getting the 'Nitro Pro Wizard has failed' message using our .exe package, it is because it requires a stable Internet connection to download installation files so please use offline English MSI packages instead:

I just tried your suggestion witout success 😔
Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574
-2: Error - Bad Parameter
There was an issue with the activation certificate.
My serial number is 234601-XXXXXX-016622

Can u help me?

Could you please provide a screenshot of your 'About Nitro Pro' window under Help tab? This window should show the exact build of the program.

The same information is available by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Thank you for the private message and the screenshots.

Based on the screenshots, you are still working with Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574, not Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574. To further assist you, please refer to these steps in order to install correct build:

1. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your current Nitro Pro and reboot your machine:

2. Clear all your Downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

3. Download and install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 using the installer from this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

Important: If you are using Chrome or any of the Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Vivaldi, etc.) and you are unable to access the above installer links, you're more than likely experiencing the results of a new security feature that was silently pushed out to the browsers, which blocks .exe/.msi/etc downloads without any visible error or prompt on the browser's frontend user space. In order to bypass this, please try these steps:

a. Right-click the link you're trying to download, and select "Save link as..."
b. Choose your save location and select "Save"
c. On the bottom edge of your browser window, the Downloads bar should now appear and the file will show up with a red error icon, attempting to block the download. Press the caret button and select "Keep"

4. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number 23460x-xxxxxx-016622
