Nathan V
ive been using Nitro for a few years now. im still blown away at how big some of these files get after making edits. As an example 1- I open a simple 8 page PDF containing images and text @ 600kb or so 2- delete a page as its no longer required. 3- Save as new document - now a 7 page PDF @ over 5mb as a work around, i would then "Optimize" the new PDF, bringing it down to 700kb. So i now have a document with one page less, a larger file size, AND images that have been resampled to a Lower quality !!! is Nitro just inefficient or is there a setting i need to adjust ? I notice this with alot of documents, and up till now ive just accepted it. But its really something that shouldnt be happening. Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 NITRO Team, or others, please advise a fix or setting i may be missing... thanks Edited December 15, 2021 by Nathan V

You can find out more about these fixes here: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/security/updates To further assist you, we highly recommend upgrading to our latest version at a discounted rate by entering your serial number '234601-xxxxxx-398225' through our Upgrade Portal https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade as we have stopped making feature enhancements to version 12 once we released version 13.
