Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 23, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 23, 2021 Hello @James Haver, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums and sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We recently became aware of this issue with Nitro PDF Pro where certain documents generate this error. Our developers are current working on getting this resolved. In the meantime you have a couple of options. You can open the file in another program such as Chrome, Edge or the free Adobe Reader and then print it to the Nitro PDF Creator printer. The new PDF created will now work in Nitro PDF Pro without error. The other option is to uninstall Nitro PDF Pro Version 13.53 and install Version 13.50 which does not have this issue. You can download this version of Nitro PDF Pro here: Win 10x64 https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.50.4.1013/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi Win 10x32 https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.50.4.1013/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi Please let us know if you need anything else as we appreciate your business. Joshua Volk
Hello, @Allain Umailin The issue is that 13.50 has a known issue with Nitro PDF Pro's MS Office Add-ins that was resolved in Version 13.53 but now 15.53 has an issue with opening certain .pdf's. Both of which my organization is now facing. We were just starting to deploy 15.53 to resolve the addin issues we were seeing, but I feel like we now need to hold off because there is going to be another release coming out. James Haver
Hello Allain - I uninstalled my update version of Nitro Pro (13.53.3.1073) and reinstalled the 13.50 version using the link you provided for the 64-bit. I am now seeing a notice at the top of "Your trial ended" How do I get back to the fully paid version that I had?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 30, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 30, 2021 Hello @James Haver, After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number. If you have done this already, are you seeing a small banner which states that message? Could you please provide a screenshot of that banner? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted January 21, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 21, 2022 Hello @Joshua Volk, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! The release of the new build that contains the fix for this error message when opening certain PDF files is targeted for this quarter. Updated information will be posted on our website https://www.gonitro.com/support/documentation/release-notes as we firm-up the timing and scope of the upcoming release. As much as we would like to, we are unable to provide a specific timeline for its implementation due to other roadmap items we're currently working on. Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
