Oleksandr Khomenko
If adding a signature in QuickSign the contrast setting makes it almost transparent to the point that printers barely pick the signature up. The original picture is full colour and if inserted in a .doc document and exported to Nitro does not suffer the described contrast loss. Is there a way to adjust the contrast of the signature to make it less transparent?
Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted December 29, 2021 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 29, 2021 Hi @Oleksandr Khomenko Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! The images exported to the QuickSign signature profile does not have the option to control the contrast and opacity. A work-around that you can do is to create a new document in Nitro PDF Pro then use the Add Image tool under Review tab to paste the image. When done, click Edit tool then right-click the image and select Properties. Under Picture tab, you will have the option to change the Brightness and Contrast. After this, use the Snapshot tool to take a screenshot of the image then use Window's paint to paste the image. Save the image file then use it to create a QuickSign signature profile. You can also use Window's Photo viewer to edit/adjust the attributes of the image. When done, save it as a new image then use it when creating a QuickSign signature profile. gerencia@elimser.com
Sorry to re-float an old thread, but It seems the Quicksing contrast issue is still running. I have a file with the signature to be used in Quicksing. It is perfectly usable in any other tool. But when used in Quicksign, it wash-out the picture reducing a lot the contrast and saturation of the picture, making it unusable. It is an specific problem in Quicksign, because I use the same file to certify/sign and it runs well.
Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted July 30, 2023 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted July 30, 2023 Greetings @gerencia@elimser.com Thank you for reaching out through our Community Forums! Below is the workaround we can offer to edit the image attributes like contract and brightness. I understand that this requires additional steps, however, this is the workaround that we can offer related to QuickSign signatures using image files. You may try to use your signature image in the Stamp tool instead of QuickSign. You can post a topic in our Product Improvement section about the ability to edit the image attributes of signature images when used in QuickSign.
