Comments and notes created in Acrobat are not viewable in PDFPEN Pro

I'm using PDFPen Pro 13.1 on my Mac running Big Sur 11.6.1

I have a lot of PDFs that were created or edited using Acrobat, and many of them contain noted and comments. These show up as icons in the documents but clicking on them doesn't display the contents.

Is this a known bug or there a way to display the contents I don't know about?

We would love to perform some tests of this rare behavior and in order to proceed, would you be able to send over a few samples?

To send them via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

Lastly, is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing PDFpen Pro 13.1? Any changes you are aware of before this happened (e.g. Mac Updates)?
